Greenburgh Town Board 7/09/08 Meeting Resolutions Posted
Release Date: July 06, 2008

By working through the July 4th holiday, all 43 resolutions that appear on the Town Board Tentative Agenda for this Wednesday’s (7/09/2008, 7:30PM) Town Board meeting at Town Hall (177 Hillside Avenue) have been posted in their entirety on the Town’s Web site, www.GreenburghNY.com, for your consideration well in advance of the meeting.

Please note that bond resolution CO-23, which does not appear on the Tentative Agenda because it was not received in time, is also posted.

All 44 resolutions may be accessed by:
1.      clicking in the box titled “Upcoming Town Board Resolutions” located on the right side of the Town’s homepage, or
2.      clicking “Documents & Forms” on the left side of the homepage, or
3.      simply clicking here, which will take you directly to the “Documents & Forms” page.

Where applicable, the posted resolutions contain hyperlinks to other documents related to the specific resolution so the reader may review not only the resolution but also documents supporting the resolution. For example, for a resolution involving a tax certiorari, a copy of the affected school district’s approval letter and the data tabulation spreadsheet are provided as hyperlinked attachments to the resolution.

NEW FEATURE: For resolutions regarding construction change orders, a hyperlink to the previous change order is now provided so the reader can more easily verify the cost increase/decrease from change order to change order.

NEW FEATURE: A copy of the Tentative Agenda has been included with the resolutions at the link above to make it easier to match the posted resolutions to the agenda.

NEW FEATURE: Documents in Adobe Acrobat Reader format are now being compressed to reduce the file size in order to speed document retrieval, particularly for users with slow Internet connections.

If you have suggestions for further improvements to this open government initiative, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The posting of resolutions in such detail in advance of the meeting is part of the Town Board’s continuing efforts to keep the public informed. We trust you find the information helpful and this method of distribution convenient. Should you have any questions or comments regarding the postings, please do not hesitate to contact us. You may email the entire Town Board by emailing TownBoard@GreenburghNY.com, or by replying to this email and I will forward your response.

On behalf of the entire Town Board (Supervisor Paul Feiner, Councilwoman Sonja Brown, Councilwoman Diana Juettner, Councilman Kevin Morgan and myself), I hope you are having a wonderful July 4th weekend.

Francis Sheehan, Councilman
