Received a phone call earlier this morning form Verizon's government liaison. Was advised that about 2,000 customers in the Westchester-Rockland area are out of phone service due to yesterdays rain storm. She said that crews have been dispatched and that most people will have their service restored by the weekend. I was also advised to encourage residents without Verizon power to call the company directly.
If you provide me with the name, address, phone number of homes without outages (and the ticket number after you call Verizon and file the complaint), I will then try to expedite the processing of the complaint.
