Release Date: November 21, 2003

The Greenburgh Town Board will approve a resolution this Monday authorizing Supervisor Paul Feiner to executive an intermunicipal agreement with the Villageof Ardsleyin order to establish a cooperative means of conducting land use planning activities for parcels on the border of their respective municipalities. Both localities will be able to designate non voting members to serve on each others Planning Boards when development proposals are under consideration that impact their communities.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Feiner said that he hopes that this intermunicipal agreement will help reduce tensions in the future. “It’s important that Ardsley have a voice in our land use decision making process because our decisions impact their quality of life.”
