Environmental phase II analysis of Frank's nursery commences Thursday
Release Date: September 05, 2012

Phase II site analysis of Frank’s nursery will commence this Thursday (tomorrow). The following e mail was received from the Commissioner of Public Works. After the analysis is completed we will know how much environmental remediation needs to be done at the abandoned Frank’s nursery on Dobbs Ferry Road. Game On has agreed to pay the costs of the study. If the proposed lease with Game On is rejected by the voters at the polls in November the town will assume the costs of the analysis.
PAUL FEINER

Please note field work for the Phase II site analysis at Franks Nursery is planned to commence this Thursday. You may notice a drilling rig on the site. This is used to draw soil samples at various locations throughout the site. Scientists will be monitoring the samples. The number of samples and duration is currently unknown, though the work is planned for several days. No significant noise or disruption is expected as a result of this work.
