The Town of Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources is presently accepting applications for summer employment. Summer jobs range from day camp counselor positions, lifeguards and park attendants at the Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC). Applicants applying for a summer camp counselor position requires a minimum age of 16 (15 years of age for Counselors In Training). Feel free to explore Operation Crossroads for those that wish to have a summer work experience but not quite old enough to serve as a camp counselor.

Summer jobs range from day camp counselor positions, lifeguards and park attendants at the town swimming pool facilities (AFV Veteran Park and Massaro Park, seasonal park groundskeepers, and registration and gate attendants. Applicants applying for any day camp position requires minimum age of 16 years old. However GPR offers nonpaying counselor in training (cit) positions for teenagers that are 15 years old.
As part of the Greenburgh Nature Center's Earth and Arbor Day Celebration, we have organized a compost bin and rain barrel sale. Orders can be placed online and available for pick-up on April 19th from 11 am to 4 pm during our Earth and Arbor Day Celebration. We will also be holding composting classes at 11 am and 1 pm on April 19th.
Orders will be accepted until April 15th. Items for sale include:
- Earth Machine Composting Bin
- Compost Aerator/Turner
- Rodent Screen
- Rain Barrel
