TOWN RECEIVES OFFER TO PURCHASE FRANK'S NURSERY FOR SENIOR LIVING RESIDENCES--

The town has received an offer to purchase Frank's nursery. I have asked our broker to re-solicit all potential prospects by phone and e mail starting tomorrow. We are also going to invite others to submit proposals to our realtor, Harold Bordwin.
The Town Board will discuss the offer and any other offers a week from Tuesday morning at our work session. A zoning change would be required.

As many of you know, on or about October 31, 2014, the Town of Greenburgh (“Town”), the owner of the Frank’s Nursery property, 715 Dobbs Ferry Road, White Plains, NY (the “Property”), postponed the auction of the Property pending the completion of additional environmental due diligence. We believe that that additional environmental due diligence will be completed shortly.
In the meantime, please be advised that the Town has received and is considering a written offer for the Property. That offer is contingent upon, among other things, environmental due diligence, building permits and a zoning change to accommodate a senior living project.
In light of this information, if you remain interested in the Property, please let us know immediately. We are available to answer questions, schedule inspections and provide you with guidance. Offers – even with contingencies – should be submitted no later than Friday, May 15, 2015.
