Release Date: March 06, 2017

We’re excited to announce the launch of Solarize Greenburgh to make it easy and affordable for homeowners and commercial property owners to go solar!  Greenburgh was selected by Solarize Westchester to participate in the Solarize program which offers:

§  Discount pricing.
§  Pre-selected, competitively chosen solar contractors to do the installations in our community at this discounted Solarize price.
§  High quality solar equipment.
§  Immediate reduction in monthly energy costs with no money out-of-pocket for those who qualify.

To learn if your home or commercial property is a good candidate for solar, go to www.solarizewestchester.com/Greenburgh and click the “Get Started” button.

I also invite you to the Solarize Greenburgh launch event to learn about solar energy and find out how the Solarize opportunity can help you reduce your energy costs:

Solarize Greenburgh Launch Event
Tuesday, March 14th, 7 p.m.
Greenburgh Town Hall
177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh

This is a great way to lower your utility bills and avoid rising energy costs.  There has never been a better time to think about solar, and I encourage you to explore this opportunity quickly as all contracts must be signed by June 5th to be eligible for the program.

Solarize Greenburgh is also available to homeowners who are members of Greenburgh Nature Center and live in Westchester County or adjacent counties.
Solarize Westchester campaigns are being offered to Westchester communities by Sustainable Westchester, through Abundant Efficiency, which administers the program. Technical support is provided by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) under Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's NY-Sun initiative, which is a $1 billion investment in solar power through 2023 to significantly expand solar installations.
