The office of the NY State Comptroller has sent me an advisory opinion regarding allocation of funds in the A & B budget. Which budget should be charged for different services...which budget should benefit from income? Among issues to be reviewed by the Town Board are: allocation of rental income; interest on investments, town engineers salary; costs related to broadcast of Town Board meetings. This opinion is important because the allocation of funds impact the tax rates for unincorporated Greenburgh and the villages. The "B" budget is for only unincorporated Greenburgh. The "A" budget is for the entire town, including the villages.
