The Town Board will be having a work session meeting on Tuesday at 3:30 PMwith Triton, the library architect and construction lawyers to discuss the status of the library construction. We will also discuss the changes that were proposed last week regarding the geothermal contracts. These changes are being made after the bids were awarded to the contractor by the Town Board. I have asked that we be presented with an analysis: what changes have been made regarding the library construction since the 2005 referendum was approved by the voters? How have these changes impacted the library construction budget? I have asked for a written legal opinion that can be made public as to whether or not the contracts should be signed by me.
