Special Events for Singles
The Town of Greenburgh celebrates its first year of offering actitivities for singles this Fall! The actitivities which are planned provide a friendly alternative for meeting people in a welcoming setting. The events scheduled don’t focus on matching people up, but rather seek to provide a forum for positive exchange and networking. The effort is in cooperation with”Gramatan Singles”. Gramatan Singles, which was started in 1994, is a non sectarian group of volunteers who organize activities for singles every Friday at various locations within Westchester County.
All are welcomed to attend. There are no membership fees.

Singles Pool Party
Date; October 5th, 2007
Day/Time: Friday 7:30pm
Location: Theodore D. Young Community Center Indoor Pool
Admission fee; 4.00
Join other singles for Volleyball, Aquatic Dance, and More!
After the event, the group will meet at nearby “Applebee’s” on Tarrytown Rd for networking and planning future events.

Single’s Bowling Event
Date: October 19th, 2007
Day/Time; Friday 9:00pm
Location; White Plains Bowl. Tarrytown Rd.
Fee; 24.00 for 2 hours of bowling including shoe rental. Payable directly at Alley.
Join us for “Extreme” bowling with music, lights, and much FUN! Should there be enough interest, this event can be the starting point of an on-going Single’s League.
Afterwards we meet at nearby “City Limits Dinner” for desert and networking.

Single’s Lunch Outing/ Greenburgh Nature Center Fall Festival

We meet at TGIF’s restaurant for lunch, and then visit the near Greenburgh Nature Center for the Annual ‘Fall Festival”
