REMINDER: budget hearing tonight at 7:15 PM..

Reminder: the Greenburgh Town Board will be holding a budget hearing on the 2008 proposed budget tonight at 7:15 PM. Your input and suggestions re: tax hikes and programs are appreciated. What services, if any, should be cut? The Town Board has not made any revisions to the proposed budget as of yet. There will be an additional hearing after the councils modified budget is presented to the community. The Town Board has scheduled a meeting for December 12th. Additional meetings may be held in December. The budget must be approved (by law) on or before December 20th.
SPECIAL THANKS TO JOE CHIOCCHI, Westchester Greenhouses and Farms (located on Secor Road) for donating the beautiful holiday lights at Town Hall. The lights were installed yesterday outside Town Hall. Holiday lights will be placed at the E Hartsdale Ave business district this Saturday. These lights were also donated by Mr. Chiocchi.
