Clarification on meeting with postal service

The meeting with US Postal Services officials, Town Board and with Congresswoman Lowey's office this Tuesday at 3 PM to discuss changing the postal service addresses of some residents to Greenburgh would only apply to the l0603 and l0607 zip codes. Residents who have White Plains zip codes/addresses are sometimes charged the higher White Plains sales tax.

Renovation of l77 Hillside Ave for new Town Hall to start on July l instead of June lst. Town to receive $20,000 in rent due to the delayed construction start up...This should provide State Senator Spano and Assemblyman Brodsky with more time to get the town the exemption it needs from the Wicks law ---an exemption that could save the town tons of money. A few weeks ago the Town Board invited both State Legislators to meet with the Town Board to discuss the Wicks Law exemption request among other issues. We are still waiting a response ....
