Received a letter from Michael Anderson, Region 8 Construction Engineer of the NY State Department of Transportation re: resumption of the construction on the Ashford Ave project---a State of NY project that was supposed to be completed last year. The original contractor, New Rochelle Contracting Corp was unable to complete the project. This made it necessary for the Surety, Kemper Insurance Group, to take over responsibility for completing the project. "At this time we expect to be able to complete the project before the end of the year."
