Are you hungry?? If the answer is yes—you’ll be happy to learn that a new restaurant is going to open up on E Hartsdale Ave. I met with Shiva Natarajan today. He is planning to open up a Mexican restaurant where Oporto’s used to be. Mr. Natarajan has extensive restaurant experience—he also is the owner of Malabar Hill in Elmsford. He owns other restaurants in Greenwich, NYC, Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, Brewster. This new restaurant is good news for the avenue! The Mexican restaurant should open around February, 2010.
TESTIMONIALS FOR OUR CHIEF---Chief John Kapica will be retiring as Police Chief at the end of the month. At the beginning of the Town Board meeting on November 23rd (at 7:30 PM) we will welcome testimonials about the Chief. Chief Kapica has been an outstanding Police Chief.
