STORM UPDATE 3,000 HOMES WERE OUT OF POWER--NOT IT IS ABOUT 1,500

I spoke with Con Ed officials earlier today. About 3,000 homes in Greenburgh were out of power this afternoon. Con Ed is responding as quickly as possible and has crews around town. I just spoke with the police dept and have been advised that there are currently about 1,500 homes out of power. My house was also impacted by the power outages. Con Ed hopes to restore the power to all those who have been impacted by this storm later today.
Some trees have also fallen down. With heavy winds - it's possible that additional trees could come down later this afternoon and this evening --causing more outages.
