I am informed that significant work remains on the power transmission lines that were damaged in the storm. ConEd advises their work may not be completed until sometime on Wednesday.

VERIZON OUTAGE INFO—WHAT I NEED TO SPEED UP SERVICE RESTORATION
Received a call from my contacts at Verizon. If Verizon has not restored your power as of today, please e mail me your name, address, phone and ticket number. You first have to complain to Verizon. They will give you a ticket number. I can then try to expedite the restoration of service –after I have this info.
