2 proposals for hall site to be discussed

The Greenburgh Town Board sponsored a community meeting on November 18th to hear 2 proposals for the redevelopment of the old Town Hall site. The Commons (Wilder/Balter) is offering the town $2.6 million and will pay $99,282 a year in taxes.They are proposing 95 units of affordable housing and require 58 spaces. 

Sunrise
is offering the town $2.75 million, will pay the town between $250,000-$300,000 a year in taxes and requires 40 parking spaces.

Now that we heard the proposals (summary on the town web site: www.greenburghny.com (forms)) we will hold 2 community meetings:

December 15, 2003------------8 PM          Town Hall

January 12, 2004----------------7:30 PM     Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave
