Veterans Day ceremony Thursday at 1... Veterans living history interviews all day on channel 75

Thursday the town will honor our veterans at 1 PM at DeSanti Plaza across from the Hartsdale train station. Applebee's will donate refreshments at the conclusion of the event. (they also are offering a free meal to veterans) at their restaurants (they have a restaurant on Tarrytown Road).

 
IN ADDITION-- our living history interviews with veterans and a tape of this summer's barbeque for veterans--will be broadcast non stop all day on the Greenburgh government access channel --75. About 50 veterans of World War II will have their interviews broadcast. The interviews were conducted by Alan Hochberg, with the help of Ardsley's Steve Wittenberg.
 
Last year the Williams triplets interned in my office. This week they were interviewed on eyewitness news--on their anti bullying project.
The Williams Triplets and Faculty/Students at Valhalla Middle/High School were interviewed regarding an Anti-Bullying Program called "Kids Helping Kids" KHK.  This program was created in 2009 by Jake, Jacque and Jenna and implemented at the Valhalla Middle/High School through the support & guidance of  Mr.Jon Thomas (HS Principal), Mr. Sandro Prosperino  & Mrs. Stacey Gagliardi (Peer Leadership Advisors).
