RALLY THURSDAY TO SAVE WESTCHESTER TO NYC BUS
Release Date: January 28, 2004

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner invites you to participate in an important rally/strategy meeting this Thursday, January 29th at 7-9 PM at the Will Library in Yonkers. The purpose: to put pressure on the county to save the Westchester to NYC express bus. We expect a big turnout. Many commuters who reside on Central Ave depend on this route. Without it they will need to purchase an extra car...our over-congested roads will become more congested. If the bus service is discontinued we will experience a big parking crisis. Many municipal parking authorities have waiting lists for parking spots or don't allow non residents to park at the train stations. In addition, we need to provide commuters with a way to get out of the city in the event of an emergency (blackout or terrorist incident).
