I have asked the Commissioner of Planning, Mark Stellato to revisit the issue of flag lot development. Flag lots are lots that do not front or abut the public street but access to the lot is limited by a narrow access strip or private driveway from the public street. Many communities have prohibited flag lots. If we eliminate the flag lots it would be consistent with the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. The Greenburgh Town Board will discuss this at our work session on Tuesday afternoon at 3:10 PMat Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave. I support such a prohibition. PAUL FEINER
