Deer questionnaire in town activities brochure
Release Date: March 25, 2004

The spring/summer town activities brochure for the town of Greenburghwas mailed to residents of unincorporated Greenburgh earlier this week. Included in the brochure is a questionnaire which we hope you’ll consider completing—studying the effects of the startling increase in the deer population. The committee is gathering information. And, will develop some recommendations. Please complete the questionnaire. If you need another questionnaire please e mail pfeiner@greenburgh.com. The questionnaire asks residents to highlight their own experiences with deer in their neighborhood. We’d like to know how many residents have lyme or other tick borne diseases. Have members of households been involved in car accidents? Have household members curtailed outdoor activities because of a concern for contracting tick born diseases?   We’re interested in obtaining info on the frequency of the problems, health, financial and related costs.

If you’re interested in serving on the committee – the next meeting will be held on March 30th.   PAUL FEINER
