TOWN WEBSITE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT-TASK FORCE BEING FORMED--HELP RESTORE 9-11 WALL
Release Date: June 13, 2011

In recent months some residents have suggested that we improve the town website: www.greenburghny.com. There is a tremendous amount of information on the website but some people feel that it is difficult to navigate.  Do you agree?

I have asked Town Clerk Judith Beville to head up a task force to improve the website. If you have web designer skills and would like to donate your services please e mail Judith Beville at jbeville@greenburghny.com. If you would like to be a part of the task force, please advise.  If you have any comments or suggestions about the website please contact Ms. Beville and me. What do you like about our site? How can we make the website better? What information that you are looking for is not currently on the website?  Your thoughts and recommendations are greatly appreciated. A good website with lots of information about the town is very important.

Thanks for your feedback.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER AND HELP US RESTORE THE 9-11 Wall?

See you Tuesday at AV Park at 6 pm, Tennis court #1.  Visit www.greenburghartsandculture.org to see photos of project and schedule of times for volunteers.  The 9-11 wall was buildt shortly after the 9-11 tragedy at the Richard Presser Park (Webb Field). Over 1800 artists highlighted their impressions on individual murals. Unfortunately, some of the tiles fell and the mural has to be placed back on the wall. Sarah Bracey White, head of our arts council, is working very hard trying to preserve the artistic character of the wall once it is restored. Sam's Club is underwriting the cost of the restoration --working with the Rotary Clubs on this initiative.
