REMINDER JULY 27TH DELAYS ON 100a AND 100 b avoid THE ROAD TOMORROW..library

REMINDER:
I have been advised  by Police Chief Joseph DeCarlo that paving on the 100A & 100B intersection will begin on July 25th and will finish up hopefully by the 29th, if not sooner.
The big crunch day will be the 27th (Wednesday) when they will be Milling.  On that day they will start at 7:00(by the school). The work that needs to be done for Milling requires one long day there are no dangerous closures/drop edges.
 
I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM WILLIAM GORTON, ACTING REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR THE NYS DEPARTMETN OF TRANSPORTATION ADVISING THAT THE PRJOECT WILL BE COMPLETED BY September, 2011. “All major construction, including paving, sidewalks and most of the signal work to be completed by September of this year. One of the signal poles cannot be installed until late fall (November/December) due to underground utility conflicts so the new signal will not be in operation until late this year.
FRIENDS OF GREENBURGH LIBRARY HAS A PART TIME JOB OPENING AND NEEDS VOLUNTEERS
The Friends of the Greenburgh Library seeks a reliable, strong person with a car (or van) to transport boxes of books  from the Greenburgh Library to our storage facility at Westys on Route 9A three times a week during library hours. The position pays $11 an hour, plus gas reimbursement.  Must be reliable, and able to commit to a schedule.  Position starts immediately and runs through to the end of September.  Please contact:

Volunteers needed.  The Friends of the Greenburgh Library seeks regular volunteers immediately to help sort books for the upcoming book sale in September.  Must love books, and be able to pack boxes.  Volunteers must be able to work to at least one half day a week (mornings or afternoons) on a fairly regular schedule, sorting new donations to the Friends of the Greenburgh Library.  A book lover's dream.  Please contact Lita Orlay, the book sale organizer for the Friends of the Greenburgh Library at: Litaorlay@hotmail.com.  No phone calls please.
