    Update on Upcoming Environmental Programs
     
 
The Town’s Conservation Advisory Council is established under the Town Code to advise the Town Board on environmental aspects of development and other activities in the Town.  Included within its mandate is to develop and conduct programs designed to increase understanding of the nature of environmental problems and issues and support for their solutions in the community.   The CAC is presenting a multi-month series of environmental programs to which the public is invited. 
 
The Greenburgh Nature Center is co-sponsoring the following program in this series at the Greenburgh Nature Center:
          
·       November 10th - Courtney White, Executive Director of the Greenburgh Nature Center, will discuss "Challenges of Nature Deficit Disorder: The Importance of Connecting Children with the Natural Environment”.
 
This jointly-sponsored program will be held at the Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Road (off Central Avenue),Scarsdale, NY, commencing at 7pm, as the first part of that evening's CAC meeting. THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME.
