GELSPRAIN UPDATE--major work on Ardsley Road to be completed by next Wed--LEAF/DEBRIS UPDATE..
Release Date: December 12, 2011

Many residents have expressed concern about the traffic jams on Ardsley Road--due to construction at Gelsprain. Good news. The work should be completed by Wednesday of next week. Toll BROTHERS is providing a bi weekly construction schedule to the town which we are posting on the website for people who are following construction.

DEBRIS/LEAF PICKUP UPDATE-- We are making progress re: leaf/debris pickup. But---it's very slow. The branches are heavy. And--leaves/branches are picked up separately. We still have substantial areas that have not had pickup. We have 3-4 crews working every day. For example, today a crew that we had hoped to assign to debris/leaf pickup is working removing a dangerous tree.

THE PLAN---EVEN THOUGH I HATE THE WORD OVERTIME, WE NEED TO TRY TO CLEAR AS MUCH OF THE DEBRIS AS POSSIBLE BEFORE THE FIRST SNOW STORM. I SUGGESTED THAT OUR CREWS WORK LONGER HOURS DURING THE WEEK AND THIS SATURDAY. WE'RE WORKING AS HARD AS WE CAN. PAUL FEINER
