SOME REMINDERS: 2nd half of school taxes are due on January 31st. Town Hall will be open till 7 PM on the 31st. At tomorrow evenings Town Board meeting (which will begin at 7:30 PM) there will be a flood control presentation from our consultant. We will advise of efforts being made to assist residents and businesses with flood related concerns. Among initiatives: buyouts (Babbitt Court) and requests to elevate homes that experience flooding. MONDAY NIGHT: 8 PM...meeting at Town Hall to organize a major fundraising initiative to help the library offset budget cuts with private donations. Your help wanted. She found solace in her small daughters water color paint set when there was nothing else to do.
