Release Date: March 27, 2012

To: Town Board—If you are free please try to attend the community outreach meeting this Thursday.
To: Department heads. Am not sure how many people will attend this meeting. If you can’t make the meeting that is OK. Please e mail me some info about your department that you’d like to have shared. PAUL

Members of the Town Board and I try to hold annual community outreach meetings in different neighborhoods in the town.  Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 29th at the Highview  School, next to Richard Presser Par in Hartsdale.  The meeting starts at 7 PM and should end by 9 PM.  The goal: to hear from you about concerns you have.  In recent weeks this neighborhood has benefitted from the opening of H Mart, the new supermarket that replaced Pathmark. The 9/11 Memorial Wall has a new feature: we installed  the artifact from the World Trade Center on the wall. The artifact was donated by the Port Authority.

If your civic association would like to arrange an outreach meeting with town officials – please e mail me. If you are not a member of a civic association and would like to host a neighborhood meeting at your home – we’ll make a house call and discuss any issues with you and your neighbors. These outreach meetings enable us to be more responsive to your concerns and help us make Greenburgh a better place.

Secor Park located in Poets Corner is always closed during the winter months. Now that spring has arrived the park will be open. Opening day: Monday, April 2nd.  Have a great spring.
