TOWN BUILDING DEPARTMENT STEPS UP ENFORCEMENT

One of the goals of the Building Departmetn has been to be more proactive this year --initiating code enforcement, not just acting on complaints. Between January 1 and June 15th 488 notices of violations have been issued --the majority are quality of life. A report from the Building INspector, John Lucido, has been forwarded to the members of the Town Board and Supervisor Feiner. Many violations are abated without the need for judicial action.
