DEDICATION OF back of 9/11 WALL ON FRIDAY

The largest 9/11 memorial in the world -100 feet long and 8 feet high is at the Webb Field in Hartsdale. The mural includes over 2000 tiles that were hand painted by WestchesterCountyresidents. The wall cost $43,000 to build and was completely funded by the Rotary Club. The other side was given to the Rotary Club to be designed into an artistic marvel by Jennifer Dragon, a Rotary Ambassador Scholar. Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced that the town will enhance the landscaping around the wall to highlight its significance, so that the public may appreciate it for decades to come. The back of the wall features artistic illustrations highlighting the historic work done for the community by Rotary Clubs.

The ceremony dedicating the back of the Wall (the Rotary side) will take place this Friday, June 25th at noonat Webb Field, Central Ave, Hartsdale.

Another ceremony will take place this Friday at 11—thanking Hartsdale Rotary for donating a beautiful clock at the entrance to our new Town Hall.
