IT COULD BE A WEEK BEFORE POWER IS RESTORED

I met with the Police Chief and Con Ed representatives at police headquarters a short time ago. They advised me that over half the town is out of power (over 9,000 residents). I was also advised that it could take over a week for the entire town to have their power restored. There are many wires that are down, trees that are down.
Con Ed has assigned a team to work with the Police department –trying to restore power as quickly as possible.
REMINDER- RECYCLING TOMORROW. SANITATION PICK UP THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
CON ED IS NOT DISTRIBUTING DRY ICE AT THIS TIME.
