THEODORE YOUNG COMMUNITY CENTER OPEN AS AN OVERNIGHT SHELTER TONIGHT---SHOWERS AVAILABLE!
The Theodore Young Community Center will be open all night as an emergency shelter. The center, which will have cots for people to sleep on, is located on Manhattan Ave (across from K Mart) (telephone: 989 3600). A police office is assigned to the center and CERT team volunteers assist. We are grateful to our volunteers for their help.
DRY ICE BEING DISTRIBUTED TODAY AT FOLLOWING LOCATIONS..
IBM Complex/Town Park at Business Park Dr. parking lot. (Set GPS for 200 Business Park Dr.) in Armonk
Yonkers Raceway - 810 Yonkers Ave.
There will be Con Edison personnel at the Yonkers location to answer Con Edison customers' questions.
Dry ice will be handed out until supplies are diminished.
THE GREENBURGH LIBRARY IS OPEN TILL 9 PM
Good news at the Library, our wireless internet is up and running right now.
 
There were 1400 people in the library on Tuesday and 1900 on Wednesday, a typical Wednesday is 900 people.
 
Remember the Library is open extra hours. Thursday from 5:30 to 9 pm we will be providing emergency services only, internet and electrical outlets. On Sunday, November 4th we are open from 1 pm to 5 pm for full service.
