Crossroads Shopping Center, home of Kmart and Modell’s (on Route 119) will undergo a façade upgrade. The project cost is in the neighborhood of $3.5 to 4 million and expected to begin shortly. This is good news for the town!
The Greenburgh Town Board interviewed potential tenants who are interested in leasing the former WESTHELP property for affordable housing purposes at our Town Board work session this morning. We were impressed with the proposals and want to do our due diligence before finalizing a selection. Our goal: to generate the maximum rent possible for the property to enable us to keep your taxes as low as possible. And – to provide affordable housing opportunities to seniors at this beautiful campus. We plan to send each of the applicants follow up questions and will ask them to respond to the questions before next Tuesday’s work session. It’s my hope that we can make a decision next week. I originally was hoping to make a decision today but we would rather be careful before we make our selection.
