TOWN GETS DONATION FROM FOUNDATION FOR $200,000 FOR PROGRAMS
Release Date: August 26, 2013

I am very pleased to announce that our Philanthropy department has received an additional $200,000 from the Lanza Family Foundation for worthwhile programs that help town residents. This is in addition to other programs (example: Police Summer Youth Camp) funded by the Foundation. In recent years we have received over a million dollars in donations for worthwhile town initiatives from the Lanza Foundation.
The Arts & Culture program was a taxpayer funded program for many years - until the Lanza Family Foundation assumed the costs of this worthwhile initiative.
