Board Meetings to be on internet

The Greenburgh Town Board approved a resolution at our November 10th Town Board meeting authorizing the town to web-cast Town Board meetings. You will now be able to access Town Board, Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings on our web site: www.greenburghny.com. Meetings will be archived for at least 3 months. This is another open government initiative that will make government more accessible to you. This new innovation will enable those who do not have cable TV to also have the chance to watch Town Board, Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings on our internet site! We hope to have the November 10th Town Board meeting up on our web site up early next week.
I intend to continue to push to air meetings of the various Boards live on our website. This will be one of my 2005 goals. If Board meetings are aired live on the internet it would enable those residents who travel to watch our proceedings from anywhere and to call in during the meetings if they have any concerns or questions.
