As a result, Feiner will be returning $1,186.67 to the taxpayers. Feiner places $5000 of his salary in escrow. He has been basing part of his salary on goals since 1999.  Previous goals/evaluations are also posted on our web site.

“I believe that every elected official in the United Statesshould base their salary on performance,” said Feiner. Goals encourage elected officials to work harder and to follow up on promises.  It’s also important for elected officials to admit when they did not achieve their objectives for the year.

Feiner said that he is currently working on his 2005 goals –which will be posted on the town web site. I encourage members of the community to provide me with their input and suggestions. E mail pfeiner@greenburghny.com
