The Greenburgh Library Foundation is holding their annual fundraiser on Monday evening at the Library to raise funds for the library. Info on the event (which begins at 6 PM) can be found on the link below. The article is reproduced from the dailyvoice.com.
First, there’s a new yoga studio, Hot Yoga Journeys. They have a studio in Yonkers but just opened a new, much larger one here. The owners are Juniet and Elvis Rodriguez. The studio is at 218 East Hartsdale Avenue, located on the second floor (above O’Leary’s wine shop.) They specialize in Hot Yoga. Bring a towel! They are a terrific young couple and deserve a great Hartsdale welcome to the community.
Just under construction is a new restaurant in the Juice & Java space. It is called the Copper Kettle Café and will at first be take out only. We are applying for a Special Use Permit for seating. The menu will feature small plate American fare with Italian accents. The owner and chef is Joe D’Angelo, who owns the acclaimed Spigolo Restaurant on the Upper East Side in the City. Joe is a Hartsdale resident, in the apartments on East Hartsdale Ave. and wanted to have a place for people to pick up a great meal after a long day at work. If we get the Special Permit he will also feature local beers on tap and wine. Should be a great place. Joe is aiming for a June opening.
Also coming is a new dry cleaner in the old Aristocrat shop. The owner is Ray Lee, who owns 4 other locations in Westchester. The business is called EcoGreen and features state-of-the-art, ecologically friendly, water-based drycleaning. He is just getting his permits now but hope to open in early summer.
