WHY PARTS OF THE TOWN HALL PARKING LOT IS INACCESSIBLE TO CARS
Release Date: November 24, 2014

The Town of Greenburgh obtained a  grant from the Bronx River Watershed
Initiative (BRWI) to redevelop the northeastern portion of the Town Hall parking lot. The primary goal of
the grant is to implement stormwater retrofit project capable of providing water quality treatment for
stormwater runoff from existing impervious areas. Impervious surfaces have a direct connection to
pollutants located within stormwater runoff and the quality treatment of existing impervious areas within
the Bronx River Watershed will ultimately have a positive impact on the Bronx River. Work is currently being done but should be completed soon. Sorry for the inconveniences if you had to stop by at Town Hall.

Many people keep writing me about the building construction taking place in front of Stop & Shop on 119 (near Tarrytown). It is being built on spec.  They have no tenants signed up yet.
