The AARP Tax-Aide program is the nation’s largest free volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service. Since 1968, it has helped millions of low to moderate income families to prepare their taxes and keep more discretionary income for everyday expenses like food and housing.
“Our partnership with AARP’s Tax-Aide program helps us fulfill our commitment to the families of Fairview-Greenburgh and beyond. We are happy to connect them to such a reliable and highly trusted service provider. Over the years, we have learned to trust AARP to take good care of our families during the tax season and all year round,” said Deputy Commissioner André G. Early.
The Tax-Aide program is one of two strong partnerships between AARP and TDYCC. They also partner to offer Diver Safety courses to senior citizens every few months in order to help them save money on car insurance. These classes can be completed in one day, and are also held at the TDYCC facility.
