KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOR-- Greenburgh is a large town -about 90,000 people. Lots of interesting people in our town (did you know that Hastings on the Hudson has more Nobel Prize winners than any community anywhere?). Feel free to e mail me info about interesting local residents. Sharon Forman resides in Edgemont. She's a REform rabbi and a graduate of Yale University. She also holds a master's degree from Columbia Teachers College. She worked with illustrator Lisa Teitelbaum, who served on the Edgemont School Board, on an interesting book --THE BASEBALL HAGGADAH - a Festival of Freedom and Springtime in 15 Innings. Lisa went to Cornell - earning a degree in Urban and Regional Studies and a master's in REgional lPlanning. She also holds a law degree from NYU. And is a great illustrator! The book was profiled in the Wall Street Journal. And, today Sharon's Haggadah was featured in the Times of Israel. Rabbi Forman was also interviewed on Israel radio! Read the links below.
