UPDATE -EDGEMONT FOOTPATH TO TRAIN STATION...INDOOR POOL STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED

Many Edgemont neighbors have reached out to me to ask when the foot path and foot bridge that extends from Pipeline Road along the Bronx River to Scarsdale train station will be opened. The footpath was closed during the construction of the Crane's Road bridge--which is substantially completed. This is the response I received from the County Executive's office:
"I have been advised that the footbridge should reopen in approximately six weeks after the plantings and river restoration are complete."
THEODORE YOUNG COMMUNITY CENTER POOL WILL NOT BE OPEN ON MONDAY..
It is with deep regret and frustration to inform you that the pool located at the Theodore D. Young Community Center will not be open on Monday. The Water and Engineering Departments have been onsite for the past 2 days and unfortunately, we have not been given the green light to move forward with our aquatics programming. We will keep you informed with a rescheduled opening. Last month we became aware of a water leak- resulting in the closure of the pool.
