GREENBURGH SHOPPING CENTER TO IMPROVE TRAFFIC FLOW, ACCESS FOR DISABLED, PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
Release Date: November 24, 2015

The Greenburgh Town Board met this morning and discussed a proposal to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety at the Greenburgh center on Knollwood Road. A public hearing on the possible improvements will be held on Monday, November 30th at 7:30 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall.

This shopping Center is a very busy center. The newest tenant is ACME supermarket. Restaurants, a drug store, movie theater and much more are reasons why there is so much activity.

The landlord has proposed restriping the existing parking lot, creating more parking for the disabled, new crosswalks and stop signs, new shopping cart carriages, improvements in traffic flow and pedestrian safety enhancements as well as new ramps near the movie theatre for the disabled.
If you would like to learn more about the proposal watch the work session--link to the meeting can be found below.

Your thoughts are welcome and appreciated.   PAUL FEINER
