Release Date: December 22, 2015

WATCH TOWN BOARD PRESENTATION -- PAWS CROSSED REPRESENTATIVES DISCUSS PLANS TO RE-OPEN ELMSFORD ANIMAL SHELTER AS NO KILL SHELTER

The Greenburgh Town Board will turn over the property that used to house the Elmsford Animal Shelter and Pet's Alive to another no kill animal shelter-- Paws Crossed - after Pet's Alive turns over the property to the Town Board early next year.  Last week Pet's Alive announced that they would turn over the property to the town and the town announced that we will turn over the property to Paws Crossed.

Representatives of  Paws Crossed (www.pawscrossedny.org) met with the Greenburgh Town Board at the work session of the Greenburgh Town Board this meeting to discuss their plans. They seem passionate about their pets, organized and have a great plan of action that will enable pets to be rescued and adopted by caring residents. Watch the presentation to the Town Board:
