SANITATION CALENDARS IN MAIL THIS WEEK..SWEARING IN CEREMONIES SET FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Release Date: December 27, 2015

We plan to send out the 2016 sanitation schedule this week. And, will post the calendars on the town website later this week -before 2016.

REMINDER: TOWN HALL CLOSES DECEMBER 31st at 12:30.

Can't believe that I'm beginning my 25th year as Town Supervisor.  I'm as excited about the job as I was the first day I took office. And--have many ideas that I hope will help make your town a better place to live at.  I first got elected to the Westchester County Board of Legislators 33 years ago. I'm continuing my tradition of taking my oath of office at area elementary schools.  The goal: to provide students with an opportunity to experience first hand a swearing in ceremony... to have the chance to learn about local government..to have their questions answered.  I usually ask some of the students to hold the bible.

A few years ago I met someone  who held the bible for me 20+years ago --when I first started my career in government. He told me that he's now in government in another state! And, he never forgot the experience.  I hope that we will continue to look for ways to encourage more young people to get involved in government!

The following swearing in ceremonies will be held for the Newly Re-Elected Town Officials (Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, Town Councilmembers Ken Jones and Kevin Morgan, Town Clerk Judith Beville, and Town Justices Arlene Gordon-Oliver, Delores Brathwaite and Walter Rivera.
