The Greenburgh Town Board unanimously approved a 5 year contract with the Teamsters, AFL-CIO. The previous contract had expired December 31, 2003. The following are highlights of the provisions of the contract: 3% increase in 2004 (retroactive); 3% increase in 2005; 3% increase in 2006; 3%increase in 2007 and 3.25% increase in 2008. There are around 100 employees in public works who will be impacted by this agreement. I believe that this contract is fair. PAUL FEINER
