SAVE THE DATE- VETERANS DAY NOVEMBER 11 2 PM DEDICATION OF OUR NEW PARK ON EAST HARTSDALE AVE
Release Date: October 08, 2016

Our new veterans park on E Hartsdale Ave is looking great. Today, the last bluestones were place at DeSanti park on E Hartsdale Ave. (see attached photo's). Two new pin oak trees, 25 feet tall were planted. The new monument should be placed at the park before our Veterans day ceremony--2 PM November 11, E Hartsdale Ave.

Special thanks to Hugh McAuley, who chaired the committee that pushed for the veterans memorial...to the members of our veterans advisory committee...to the parks and recreation advisory board and Planning Board for approving the use of non taxpayer dollars (developer escrow funds) for the park...to Commissioner Gerry Byrne of the parks department and his team...to the members of the Town Board for approving the park.  And to the veterans of Greenburgh who deserve to be honored.

This park will be a great enhancement to E Hartsdale Ave!
