HELP SENIORS GET TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS...2nd half of school taxes due tonight..job coaching event
Release Date: January 31, 2017

WestFair Rides, a 5-year-old not-for-profit charitable organization seeks volunteers to drive older adults aged 60+ and adults 21+ with vision impairment to medical appointments (doctors, dentists, physical therapy, radiation & chemotherapy) in Westchester County.
The demand for rides is growing rapidly.  We ask faith based communities to help us reach out to Westchester residents, 21+ who can give a bit of time to drive an older neighbor to medical appointments.
Carefully screened, volunteers drive their own cars and can choose rides that fit their own personal schedules.  Our volunteer drivers feel valued.  Often we hear: “I get more satisfaction out of driving older folks than I had ever imagined”.
Please spread the word and join the  corps of dedicated volunteer drivers who help others get to medical appointments safely and comfortably.  One of our riders described it this way: “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your volunteer drivers.  I feel safe and cared for and I arrive at the doctor’s relaxed and ready.  I have made new friends and the camaraderie that develops is extraordinary.”
We look forward to your contacting us: www.westfairrides.org, B: 914-764-3533,
