Please help a neighbor find a lost bird who was part of their 'family' for 21 years. See attached photo. Reward will e given. The bird was last seen at Richard Presser park and the name of the bird is Kathy. The family is devastated.
The Greenburgh Central School District is holding a viewing party for the solar eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21.
A viewing party will be held at Woodlands High School Soccer Field from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m with 250 approved viewing glasses being handed out.
During the eclipse , The sun will disappear behind the moon, turning daylight into twilight, and leading to a quick plunge in temperature before streamers of light streaking across the sky around the moon's silhouette.
It will mark the first time a total solar eclipse will be visible from the mainland United States since 1979.
