NATURE CENTER HAS ROOF, TRAIN SHOW SATURDAY, FIREFIGHTERS RAISING $ FOR MDA

GREENBURGH NATURE CENTER HAS A NEW ROOF --MANOR HOUSE WILL RE-OPEN ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2
FOR THEIR ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW
 
The Greenburgh Nature Center will be holding their annual train show on Saturday, December 2nd. the show will also be open on December 9 and 10 and December 16 and 17  Saturday is a big day for the nature center because the center had been closed for two months due to the roof repairs. The live annual museum is also open this weekend!  HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW  December 2 to December 17  10 AM to 4:30 PM.  free to members, non members $10 adults, $9 seniors and students, $8 children (ages 2-12) and children under 2 are free.
 
The Yonkers Model Railroad Club presents in miniature an enchanting display of the steam, diesel and electrical train operations that existed in the eastern United States in the second half of the 20th century. Exciting sounds of steam locomotives, as well as the colors and designs of the great railroads of America's past, including the NY Central System and the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroads.
 
 
 
GREENBURGH FIREFIGHTERS TO SOLICIT FOR MDA (MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION) ON SATURDAY MORNING AT THE 4 CORNERS, HARTSDALE  AND CROSSWAY SHOPPING CENTER ON TARRYTOWN ROAD
The firefighters are raising funds for MDA--part of their annual fill the boot initiative.
 
THIS SUNDAY--FUNDRAISING TO DISTRIBUTE PET OXYGEN MASK KITS TO LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS
the Furbridge and Pete's Saloon Give Back 3rd Annual Fundraiser that will be held at PETE's Saloon and Restaurant, 8 West Main Street, Elmsford, NY 10523 on Sunday, December 3 from 12 noon to 5 p.m.  Folks will have the chance to join Santa and his Furbridge elves in continuing the mission to raise money to purchase and distribute pet oxygen mask kits to local county fire departments.  There will be fun for the entire family, including holiday "pawtraits," tricky tray, mystery challenge, door prizes, a raffle and more! 
 
Furbridge, Inc. is a community outreach program/animal rescue that offers financial assistance, funding, education and awareness to both the public and other non-profit organizations.  Furbridge is also an approved 501(c)(3) NY non-profit corporation so all donations are tax deductible.
