I will be filing my proposed 2006 budget with the Town Clerk later today. At the request of the members of the Town Board – copies of the budget document will not be available for distribution until tomorrow (providing members of the Board with an opportunity to look at the document in advance). The budget message and budget document will be posted on our web site this week: www.greenburghny.com.

The town wide budget (unincorporated Greenburgh and villages) totals $14,404,611 and will have a proposed tax reduction of 1.43%. The town outside budget is $54,738,462 (unincorporated Greenburgh) and has a tax increase of 3.82%.
