left turn arrow on underhill/old army road ok'd---BEST NETWORKING EVENT TODAY AT RYE HILTON
Release Date: March 28, 2018

THE BEST NETWORKING PROGRAM IN WESTCHESTER IS TODAY FROM 1-5 PM

The Business Council of Westchester sponsors an amazing networking program every year. The event is being held today from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Rye Hilton. Over 1500 people attend, 180 vendors participate. This is a great opportunity for residents of Greenburgh to interact with other business leaders who can help you grow your business. You will be able to meet lots of representatives of different companies, get ideas. In the past a few residents who were members of my job club (seeking employment) advised that they eventually were hired for employment positions because of the contacts they made at this event.  Without question- this is the best networking program held in Westchester every year.  There will be valet parking as an option for those who don't want to look for parking.

GOOD NEWS FROM NYS  LEFT TURN SIGNAL ARROW AT INTERSECTION OF CENTRAL/OLD ARMY RD TO BE INSTALLED

I received the attached letter from the NYS Department of Transportaiton indicating that they agreed to install a left turn signal arrow at the intersection of Route 100 Central Ave with Underhill/Old Army Roads. This will alleviate some of the residents’ cocnerns by helping to clear left turn traffic querued on the side road approaches to Central Ave.

I will continue to push for additional safety improvements regarding the nearby intersection of Fort Hill Road and Underhill Road, which was not part of the study conducted by NYS.  This is the 2nd left turn signal recently approved by the state impacting a NYS road. Earlier this year a signal was placed on Dobbs Ferry Road near the Sprain.  THANK YOU!

Please continue to forward safety suggestions to my attention.
